Senior Analyst Emerging Markets

Thomson Reuters Point Carbon is looking for a new senior analyst for its Emerging carbon and renewable market team. This position requires good knowledge of the Asian and Latin American carbon and renewable markets, their fundamental and policy drivers, and good communication and business development skills.

Tasks:

- Lead analyst on Asian and Latin American carbon and renewable markets and policy

- Frequent interaction with policy makers and market players

- Contribute to business development of current and upcoming carbon and renewable products

- Represent Thomson Reuters Point Carbon at conferences, training courses and public events

- Frequent and high-level interaction with clients* Master degree in political science, finance, economics, engineering, or mathematics with strong academic record

- 2+ years of experience in the carbon or renewable markets

- Outstanding analytical and writing skills, with an innovative and creative spirit

- Good quantitative skills

- Broad scope of expertise in carbon and preferably renewable markets

- Commercial mind with a proven record of innovative and successful client interaction

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

- Excellent written and spoken english, we welcome candidates with multi-lingual skills and international experience
