The EU ETS specialist (SENIOR) is required to have the following minimum qualifications:
At least 10 years experience working on climate change policy, of which at least 4 working
specific ally on the development and the workings of the EU -ETS;
Substantial experience with feasibility studies in the field of urban development/environmental
management/climate change;
In-depth knowledge of current EU climate change policies;Excellent communication skills;
Able to use computer based Word processing, Spreadsheet and presentation software expertly, -
Proficiency in English.
Additional requirements for EU-ETS specialist (SENIOR):
Experience in ETS outreach activities in non-EU countries would be an ass et.
Work ing language(s)
The mission will conduct its activities and produc e all reports in English. However, some
interventions with Chinese interloc utors will require knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
Replacement of language skills required from the Experts by an interpretation/translation service
is not allowed.
