Wild Care Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to manage and expand programs (Wildlife Critical Care, Emergency Helpline, Wildlife Nursery Program, Internship Program, and Volunteer Program), increase Wild Care’s public presence (via press & media), work in partnership with the Board of Directors to raise funds for program and capital improvements, cultivate volunteer participation, and serve as a constructive liaison within the local community.

Qualifications: BS/BA or higher degree, coursework in biological sciences and/or environmental studies preferred. Valid Massachusetts Wildlife Rehabilitation Permit (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire), 5+ years Experience serving as a wildlife rehabilitator in a supervisory capacity, including stabilization of ICU patients, field rescue and hotline management. 3+ years experience in management & human resources preferred; familiarity with wildlife and ecology of Coastal Massachusetts, and conservation politics. Proven record of donor, grant, and event-based fundraising. Ability to recruit and maintain volunteer workforces. Public relations experience, including print, film, and radio, as well as public speaking strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, donor management (DPO) and non-profit accounting (QBP) software. Rabies vaccination required, work long hours. Position is permanent, full-time. Compensation is commensurate (~50K) with experience and qualifications with health benefits.
