The Carbon Trust is an independent, government funded organisation, with the remit to take the lead on low carbon technology and innovation to ensure that ongoing targets for greenhouse gas emissions are met. The Carbon Trust is playing an important role in the UK's transition to a low carbon economy by investing in and promoting low carbon technologies. The Carbon Trust provides free or subsidised energy efficiency advice to the UK industrial and commercial sectors. It is an established programme, for which Atkins is a lead contractor. A Sector Account Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the relationships with selected high profile Carbon Trust customers on co-funded/commercial services. The Sector Account Manager works in partnership with these customers in order to gain an understanding of their requirements, with the aim of delivering high quality emissions, reduction initiatives specifically tailored to their needs e.g. Energy efficiency, renewables, business model and supply reconfiguration. |
