Section Ranger - Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

Based in the Nossob section comprising the Kalahari ecosystem, the incumbent will take
responsibility for territorial integrity including law enforcement, collection, interpretation and
evaluation of information on adjacent areas and communities. This will include implementing the approved Conservation Policy, managing natural resources including invasive plant, alien animals, and unnatural soil erosion management systems, managing the technical infrastructure, financial and human resources management, and liaison with Namibian farmers on a regular basis.

Candidates must hold a National Diploma in Nature Conservation supported by at least 5 years’ practical experience. A BSc or BTech would be an advantage. In addition, candidates must have a working knowledge of relevant conservation legislation, good written and verbal communication skills, and good conflict resolution and project management abilities.
