By working within the marketplace, we are supporting the efforts made by innovative producers and fishermen and giving consumers the opportunity to make informed choices.

CleanFish is currently seeking Seafood Evangelists/Field Marketing Representatives in Atlanta, Chicago and Boston. Seafood Evangelists support sales and marketing objectives, help CleanFish build brand awareness and drive sales by leveraging education/PR opportunities, and coordinating sales and marketing events. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver and confident communicator looking to make a difference by walking into kitchens, interfacing with seafood distributor sales staff and exposing retailers to the products and producers they believe in.

Responsibilities Include:
• Presenting the CleanFish product line and producer stories to a range of clients and consumers including broad-liners, distributors, retailers and chefs.
• Educating and persuading all CleanFish outlets to brand CleanFish products.
• Coordinating new and seasonal product launches across the food service industry in the appropriate CleanFish outlets.
• Managing and troubleshooting events such as trade shows, tastings, retails showcases and corporate presentations.
• Developing relationships across the foodservice industry, including fishmongers, chefs, foodies and press.
• Recognizing and taking advantage of positive PR, political and sales opportunities.

Requirements Include:
• Self starter: ability to manage projects independently and effectively
• Strong people skills
• Excellent teaching skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel and adapt to a flexible work schedule when necessary
• Computer skills, especially Word and Excel: experience in NetSuite preferred
• Clean driving record and good driving skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• 3 to 5 years experience in the food industry
