We are looking for a new Seabirds and Cetaceans team member based at our waterfront Aberdeen office. The Seabirds and Cetaceans Team works widely on seabird conservation issues and is currently focused on identifying marine Special Protection Areas; establishing a seabird and cetacean surveillance programme; and making information on seabirds and cetaceans available to support other areas of JNCC marine work and that of its stakeholders. The post holder will be responsible for the administration of seabird and cetacean databases, maintenance of national statistics on seabirds and cetaceans and disseminating these data using appropriate technologies.

To join us you should have excellent data management skills and a good understanding of seabird and cetacean population ecology. You will have strong project management skills and be able to work and communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.
