Description
This sea turtle sanctuary is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic coordinator to help manage its conservation and community engagement activities. It is a multifaceted role involving capacity building, community engagement, environmental education, and ecotourism and turtle camp coordination.The coordinator will oversee conservation work, coordinate and help manage turtle volunteers, organize sanctuary visits, hatchling releases and night patrols, write reports, and engage in fundraising and social media. 
Ideal candidates will have experience working in sea turtle conservation, have a background in conservation management, fluency in Spanish, strong interpersonal communication skills, experience working in developing country contexts, community engagement, and ecotourism. 
This is a great opportunity for a budding young professional to gain experience on the ground in community-based conservation. 
The coordinator receives free accommodation and 2 meals per day. A small stipend (US$200) a month is available depending on experience.
