Description

Maio Biodiversity Foundation (FMB) is a local, non-profit, non governmental organisation founded in 2010 in Maio Island, Cape Verde.

FMB is currently accepting volunteers for the following programs:

Cape Verde is the third most important place in the world for nesting loggerhead turtles, and within the archipelago,

However, poaching of nesting turtles still occur for human consumption.

  • Monitor the nests and neonates (baby turtles)
