Salary: $97,768 - $104,657 pa

Duties: The Science Support Technical Manager will be a key member of the Science Program Support and Facilities Management Section and will be responsible for managing a number of the Australian Antarctic Divisions’ (AAD) Science Branch’s core facilities and provide high level technical support to approved AAD Science Projects.

This includes but is not limited to managing the AAD’s Laboratories, cold stores, sample management and providing management assistance to a vast array of approved projects working in areas such as marine science, aquaria, terrestrial and nearshore ecosystems and climate processes and change. This position will ensure the ongoing development and enhancement or relationships with other research agencies and universities interested in forming collaborative and complimentary relationships around the use of equipment and facilities.
