Our progress has been considerable, but we're ready to achieve much more. Edinburgh

Working closely with local authorities and other key stakeholders in north-east, central and southern Scotland, you'll build strong and lasting relationships with them all. Providing expert support and advice, you'll assist local authorities to develop innovative strategies for sustainable energy in their schools. You'll then help put together effective funding applications supporting the installation of small-scale renewables and other sustainable energy measures in schools. Through your work, you'll also maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Scotland's fast-moving renewables scene.

Innovative and an effective communicator, you'll have a broad knowledge of sustainable and renewable energy issues - and a proven track record of working in this field. It's also important that you understand Scotland's local authority and educational sectors and that you're used to liaising with a diverse range of partners. With a track record of developing successful funding proposals, you must be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise tasks in a busy work environment.
