Greenpeace is going through substantial organizational changes and because of this several information systems need to be replaced or adjusted in order to align with these changes. The Universe Project is about unifying the various fundraising systems of local offices into a global fundraising system based on Salesforce, which is being rolled out in a phased manner across Greenpeace offices around the world.
Major Functions / Responsibilities:
Role will be primarily based in Amsterdam with extensive travel to NROs around the globe and London where Salesforce and appiChar are located. Successful candidate will report directly to Universe Program Manager based in Greenpeace International and will work closely with the NRO Project Manager and NRO Fundraising Director.

Assist with requirements gathering and definition for local implementation

Support NRO project manager in areas such as functional design, change management and general IT Project delivery

Provide gap analysis and definition between local requirements and core solution

Act as a subject matter resource on Salesforce, leveraging knowledge and experience to guide local office through their implementation

Leverage the knowledge of and provide a key contact point back to the central Universe team

Actively identify opportunities in Salesforce to better the needs of the NRO and offer feedback on options under consideration

Assist with functional testing; in test case creation, execution and reporting

Build strong internal relationships with Universe team, local Subject Matter Experts and local management

Support operational readiness and deployment of the solution
Requirements

B.Sc. or University degree in a computer science, business administration or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role

Experience with Agile methodology

Experience with Salesforce - ADM 201 certification being desirable

Experience with Fundraising / CRM databases (must) and preferably one or more of the following systems / databases: Finance, Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse, Project Management

Expert ability to analyze user requirements

Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Experience in software evaluation and selection processes

Experience with application and data integration

Excellent communication skills

Experience with working in an international and culturally diverse environment.

Fluent in English, both verbal and written and preferably one other foreign language.
