Sales Manager

This position will generate immediate sales of both product and lease financing for SunEdison’s small systems business unit. The position requires a strong, proven sales background in PV product/leasing to a broad dealer customer base. In addition to being able to bring a portfolio of existing PV dealers, the Senior Sales Representative will also be responsible for identifying and developing new to solar contractors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Solicit and close immediate sales opportunities with existing PV dealers 
2. Identify and develop new to PV contractors 
3. Lead response to RFPs and other proposals 
4. Manage Sales Analyst to prepare return on investment reports, state by state analysis such as rebates, funding levels etc... 
5. Ensure data entered into salesforce.com and generate reports for management
   

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience at PV company; ability to bring existing portfolio of dealers is a strong plus 
• Extremely strong Spreadsheet, Power Point and writing skills. 
• Minimum BS degree, MBA preferred 
• Willing to travel extensively 
• Strong understanding of retail energy markets and PV solar preferred. 
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other team members
