Southern Solar Ltd is an expanding Solar Energy installation company. We provide a high quality professional service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Our main work is the installation of solar thermal and solar electric systems for domestic, public sector and commercial clients.
Due to increased growth we are looking for a capable and well organised salesperson to join our team at the Winchester Branch. The branch utilizes a technical sales approach.
Job Description
• Schedule appointments for domestic and commercial customer surveys.
• Travel to customer locations for site survey.
• Conduct commercial surveys. Explain current benefits of PV/SHW to potential customer.
• Gather all necessary site specific information required to produce a system design and quote.
• Create leads through networking, events, and potentially cold calling.
• Produce system designs and quotes using architectural plans.
• Follow up on quotes generated and close sales to meet individual sales target set by Branch Manager.
• Produce a clear handover package for the installation team for closed sales.
• Enter all customer contact, communication, and quote information in our CRM database.
• Organise and attend marketing events and exhibitions as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Support and receive feedback from project managers and installers.
• Actively look for ways to assist colleagues.
EXPERIENCE
Essential
• A proven track record in delivering Solar System sales to target
• Experience of sales in peoples’ homes and Commercial sites
• Experience of delivering a high level of customer service
• Experience of developing leads
• An enthusiasm and passion for renewable energy
Desirable
• Basic knowledge of solar thermal and electric system design
• Experience of sales in a commercial, public sector or industrial setting
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent social and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
Desirable
• Degree level qualification 2.2 or above
• Sales training
