Description

My client is a global manufacturer and distributor of high quality photovoltaic (PV) modules. They have established themselves as a key player in the solar PV market and are now looking to bring on a highly skilled and competent sales manager to work in the international market, selling and marketing their PV modules to wholesalers and developers.

 

Position Overview:

My client is looking for a highly competent individual to bring on as sales manager who can be based in China and target an international clientele. This candidate must have experience in solar PV sales and have a proven track record in generating new business and coordinating sales efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to take a senior position within a rapidly growing and successful organisation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Establish and grow key relationships with new and existing customers
  • ·         Define sales and marketing strategies according to the local climate and market and in line with company guidelines.
  • ·         Liaise with the technical department so as to be able to provide the best quality of advice and support to customers
  • ·         Source new clients to generate new streams of revenue
  • ·         Provide after sales support to customers, resolve complaints and resolve sensitive situations

 

Education:

  • ·         MSc or BSc in Business Management or Sales and Marketing is desirable

 

Core Requirements:

  • ·         Must have 1-2 years experience in Solar PV sales
  • ·         Will be a target driven individual
  • ·         Must have strong negotiation skills
  • ·         Be able to develop rapports and build relationships as you will be acting as a brand ambassador
  • ·         Must be innovative and a problem-solver

        

General Requirements

  • ·         Strong communication skills
  • ·         Must be willing to travel frequently
