My client is a internationally recognised wind company that specialises in the procurement, development and servicing in the wind industry. They are European leaders in the operations and maintenance of wind farms and are looking to expand their team internationally.

 

Position Overview:
My client is looking to recruit a sales manager to lead the service sales process in Spain and expand the utilisation of the companies services in the Spain wind industry. This role will report directly to the Director of sales and will involve working on an international level.

 

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         You will travel interntaionally to attend seminiars and meetings with your European conterparts
  • ·         You will work closly with the international team developing procseeses that will encourage growth on a company wide level
  • ·         You will lead a sales team working on a variety of negotiations across the Spain in order to expand the service utilization of the company
  • ·         You will lead negotiations in sales of blade services to wind farm operators in Spain and work closely with the international team to best expand the company growth
  • ·         You will work on expanding the companies use on PSL’s with wind farm operators and other clients
  • ·         Negotiate terms and conditions with wind farm operators, with a full knowledge of the legal requirements within the Spanish market.
  • ·         Consulting with clients on cost Vs benefit ratios
  • ·         Will be expected to proactively source new clientele and generate new revenue streams
  • ·         Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations for the renewable energy company
  • ·         Develop and manage a pipeline that supports the company’s growth strategy in the Spanish wind sector
  • Open up new markets and sign major contracts
  • Identify market potential; initiate sales process; close sales; expand sales in new and existing accounts; contribute information to market strategy and recommend new products and services

 

Education:-

Must have strong engineering degree or equivalent

 

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have 2 years sales or negotiations experience, with a proven track record in B2B negotaiations
  • You will have at least 1-3 years expereince in the wind industry either onshore or offshore
  • ·         Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements in the Spanish wind industry
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proven track record in wind business development and growth
  • ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects
  • ·         A background in the technical elements of wind development is a bonus
  • ·         Excellent report writing ability

 

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites across spain and internationally
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations
  • ·         Excellent Spanish and English language skills with other language skills a bonus
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

 

Key Skills:-

Wind Industry, negotiations experience, business development, wind service sales, strong desire to live and work in the spainish wind industry and an excellent uderstanding of the technical elements of wind turbines and blades.
