Description

My client has been in the construction industry for over 30 years and now rapidly expanding impact in the solar market. They have a strong focus on the commercial scale projects working with small and large customers alike. They are opening offices across central and east coast USA in order to expand their growth in these fast developing markets.

Position Overview:

My client requires a sales manager to lead sales in the Ohio area. You will focus largely on commercial scale projects but will also be required to work at times on a residential scales. You will report to the east coast sales director and be involved in opening the new offices in the area.

Responsibilities

  • ·         You will encourage the sale of commercial and residential scale solar PV systems across the Ohio area and ensure that company growth within the region in maintained
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
  • ·         You will be required to developed relationships with new customers, negotiate and carry through the business process
  • ·         With a proven track record of closing deals with commercial level customers you will gaining strong connections in the market develop and grow the business with the area
  • ·         Perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
  • ·         Have the opportunity to lead a team of sales consultants within the Ohio area and encourage their sales through training and implementation of your sales techniques
  • ·         You will report directly to the Director of Sales with the US in order to achieve targets and set goals within the region
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering with an MBA a bonus.

Core Requirements

  • ·         At least 4-6 years experience in a sales role
    • ·         1-3 years experience working in the solar PV industry
    • ·         Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
    • ·         Able and willing to travel throughout the USA as required
    • ·         Experience leading and training a sales team a bonus

  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Strong presentation skills
  • ·         A desire to work in a target driven role

Key Skills:-

Solar PV sales experience, commercial, residential, team leading, training and strong negotiation skills required
