  • Description
    • Manage and execute Distribution sales activities to achieve revenue/profit and market share goals for the Distribution Business Unit. Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts; maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts; resolve customer issues/problems. Assess potential application of company products/services and offer solutions that meet customer needs, research and present reports showing potential customers the benefit of purchasing Kyocera products and services. Use technical knowledge of Kyocera product offerings to support and build sales and communicate customer feedback into future needs. Set short and long-term sales strategies for territory. Relies on a positive attitude, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a wide degree of creativity is expected to develop the territory.

      1. Drive day to day sales activities and customer relationship management to expand sales; interface with existing/new customers throughout total sales cycle.
      2. Prepare territory monthly sales revenue and equipment forecasts and strategic action plans.
      3. Prepare proposals, bids, and quotations necessary to secure orders.
      4. Execute tasks of negotiation, securing orders/contracts, after sales service, technical support, and customer conflict resolution.
      5. Prepare for and present products/services at trade/industry shows.
      6. Support industry groups as needed and nurture relationships government and community to promote corporate brand/products.
      7. Document monthly activities, prepare presentations for sales meetings, and support Marketing Group with regular market updates
      8. Position requires significant outside travel.
      9. Other activities as required for the benefit of the company.

  • Qualifications
      • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 years minimum sales experience, solar industry experience is preferred.
      • Applicant must be articulate with proven writing skills and have a strong working knowledge of MSOffice applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
      • A cooperative spirit and ability to work effectively with others in a group setting is a must.
