FRONIUS USA, LLC a world leader in electronics for grid-connected photovoltiac solar systems.
- Responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical knowledge, designing system installation parameters for routine and complex configutations and installations of Fronius product to clients and potential clients
- Evaluates the client’s needs for upgrades or upsells of current or new installations of varying complexity
- Works independently with clients and prospective clients, providing product guidance and support and addressing installation and product usability issues of routine to high complexity
- Co-facilitates presentations or develops proposals, conducts demonstrations, acting as the technical expert
- Providing application advice for Fronius team members, end customers, distributors and dealers
- Support customers with system design and service calls
- Conducting training events for distributors, dealers and end clients with a focus on new and repeat sales
- Customizing training documentation for new and existing clients
- Providing technical support and guidance for the introduction of products/systems/processes onto the market
- Forward feedback about market, competition, product to TSI (Tech Suport International)
- Providing e-mail and telephone support for complex solar queries/problems
- Leads or supports initiation of modifications/further development of Fronius products
- Participating in trade fairs and providing product and technical guidance and support at regional and national events
Essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of experience in the field
- Solid technical background and knowledge of electrical fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills over the phone
- Willingness to travel
- Empathy to and awareness of customer needs
- Customer service experience
- Teaching/presentation experience
- Familiarity with photovoltaics technology and/or industry
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Valid passport
- Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Ability to work independently and/or remotely
- Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout the USA and Europe
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or German a plus
- Demonstrated ability as team leader/facilitator
