Summary

As a Sales Analyst, Italy, you will be responsible to prepare customer quotations and comprehensive proposals based on technical and product information. Interaction with the Europe and US staff will happen on a regular basis 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Drive promptly and efficiently proposals for the Utility and Power Plant International market through the design and approval process. 
• Continually streamline, standardize and improve proposal templates for all SunPower system types. 
• Work closely with project estimators, project managers and supply chain to fully calculate project costing, manufacturing lead times and deliveries. 
• Support the sales team during the contract preparation and negotiation.
• Provide input to bid strategies including pricing and possible cost savings and collaborate to implement them.
• Be a competent contact for customers as agreed with salesmen on a case-by-case basis
• Support the achievement of aggressive sales goals for the Utility and Power Plant International group 
• Analyze individual SunPower vertical markets to determine best deal structure for highest value propositions. 
• Track offerings of competitors in the large utility power plant sector.
• Support information flow between the Commercial team, Project Management, Engineering, Finance and other relevant departments
• Prepare & lead contract handovers after signature from Sales to Project Management 


Education and Experience

• A University degree in Business Administration or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years valuable work experience in commercial environment.
• Sales, Finance or Marketing background is a plus. 


Qualifications

• Experience in price/cost analysis. 
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Candidates must be highly organized and capable of working on multiple projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in English and Italian, knowledge of other European languages is a plus
