Tower Hamlets Council is seeking an enthusiastic sustainable transport officer with a specific interest in walking and cycling to join a strongly performing team committed to improving the quality of life in the Borough.

You will be responsible for organising high profile travel awareness events and community engagement exercises with a focus on ‘active travel’, as part of the Borough’s exciting ‘Healthy Towns’ initiative. Your duties will also include supporting several of our current walking, cycling and public transport schemes in Tower Hamlets, which includes workplace travel plans, travel awareness initiatives, cycle training and strategic walking projects.
