Safety and Quality Manager

This is a subsidiary company within a group turning over 600m euros with nearly 5000 employees and is one of Europe’s leading curtain wall companies. The Company has recently won a number of prestige projects and is therefore looking for new staff to expand its world class delivery team.
Working on site under the leadership of the Project Manager, this varied role involves the management of all the safety and quality aspects of a major construction project.  The work will include carrying out inductions, toolbox talks, H&S inspections & accident investigations as well as preparing safe systems of work, producing reports and managing the Safety Management System. Enthusiastic and positive with plenty of initiative, you’ll possess confident communication and IT skills, and a good eye for detail.  You’ll need to be highly motivated, hands-on and a good team player, and be able to demonstrate an excellent track record as well as the ability to work under pressure.  NVQ or CMIOSH qualification is essential, along with previous experience of working within the construction industry, dealing with working at heights and other high risk activities. Quality experience is also desirable, although comprehensive in-house training will be given.
