Russia Program Intern

The Pacific Environment Intern will provide both programmatic and administrative support to the Russia Program Team as needed.

Requirements: This position requires a self-motivated individual who is fluent in Russian and has a passion for the environment.

Responsibilities: The Russia Program Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, which may include the following:

• Assist in the planning and execution of exchanges between the US and Russia;
• Translate documents (letters, action alerts, news articles, etc.) for Pacific Environment and our Russian partners;
• Research and monitor specific environmental issues in Russia, such as impacts from mining, dam construction, and illegal logging;
• Compile background documents and outline strategies for specific campaigns; and
• Perform administrative tasks including maintaining parts of the Russia Program website, answering information requests, and organizing and filing new materials in our library.
• Assist in the management of sub-grant files and other grant related tasks
