Summary of Position Description:

Support the AMC retail merchandise department warehouse operations, through web and mail order fulfillment and daily retail duties. This is a part time, seasonal, non-exempt, hourly position that requires weekend shifts. This position is available May through October and reports to the Director of Retail Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee mail-order / on line store order fulfillment operations. Complete order fulfillment in a timely and accurate manner, processing average of 10 orders/hour.
  • Answer and respond to consumer phone calls and email inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping and distribution of merchandise to all AMC retail locations, while completing task within assigned time limits.
  • Work with onsite staff to provide and replenish inventory.
  • Travel to retail locations to help maintain proper inventory levels and assist in educating our staff and customers about the products we sell.
  • Ensure that storage areas are kept clean, secure and organized on a routine basis: Recycle items, sweep and then vacuum floors, remove trach to designated areas.
  • Assist with inventories and cycle counts as assigned.
  • Spend quality time in retail locations when necessary to aide with replenishment and sales.

Qualifications

  • Order fulfillment and inventory management required.
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, versatility, communication and attention to detail skills
  • Computer literacy; Windows, Excel, Word, familiarity with Retail Pro point of sale system.
  • Outstanding customer service skills are essential.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work hard in a busy self directed environment.

 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds for extended periods of time.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Climb multiple levels of stairs repeatedly, bending, twisting and reaching motions. Utilize step ladders, cleaning equipment. Snow shovels and hand carts.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to travel safely in the backcounty in all weather conditions, carrying 40 to 50 pounds of gear.
