This position will assist NWF's Restoration and Water Resources campaigns through the development of educational and advocacy materials for activists, agency, and congressional staff. Specific activities include research on policy and ecological topics related to large scale aquatic restoration and corps projects; fact sheet preparation; coordination assistance for workshops, lobby days, and conferences. The intern will gain a broad background in all aspects of administrative and legislative policy advocacy and some exposure to environmental litigation. The intern will have the opportunity to attend hearings and meetings with administration officials, congressional staff, and other conservation groups.
