The Resource Assessment department within SSE Renewables are responsible for scoping and running all wind monitoring campaigns at potential future websites, Delivering accurate Energy Production Estimates and managing subcontracted estimates, designing and reviewing turbine layouts for onshore and offshore projects.
We are currently recruiting an experienced Resource Assessment Team Leader; you will be responsible for leading a team of two wind analysts in all elements of resource assessment for the Scotland Onshore region. You will ensure departmental and mast contractor compliance, providing wind analysis services to the Scotland onshore project team in SSE Renewables, as well as managing any subcontracted analyses.
You will be a graduate with an engineering or physical science degree or have equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills and high levels of energy and motivation are vital. Experienced of writing code for MS Access, Matlab and in VBA for MS Excel would be beneficial.
