Residential Solar PV Sales Manager, Orlando

My client is a North American alternative energy utility provider delivering turnkey, predictably priced, renewable electricity supply services. They supply services for residential, commercial, REIT, government, and utility customers worldwide.  The client finances, constructs, operates and monitors solar plants globally. A position has become available for a residential Solar PV sales consultant based out of Orlando on the East Coast of the USA to work on solar plants ranging in size.  Aside from strong sales experience in Solar PV the candidate must also have project management experience and will be expected to work autonomously on occasion.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the development of new business acquisition to drive sales
• Have the ability to bring immediate sales
• Build brand recognition in the Solar sector globally
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to operational and technical personnel
• Assist in Project management alongside sales
• Explaining the PV solar designs to clients
• Working on sites, assessing capacity, foreseeing and addressing potential hurdles in relation to engineering within the context of building the solar PV installation

Skills and qualifications needed:

• Background in Electrical Engineering. E.g. Bachelors or Masters degree
• Sales and Project management experience in electrical engineering solar PV context
• Passionate about the photovoltaic industry
• General knowledge of different types of solar PV modules and systems
• The ability to travel throughout the USA
• The ability to work in the USA
