We have a rare and exciting opportunity for someone with strong supervisory and practical land management skills to deliver a range of conservation work on some of our spectacular wildlife reserves across south east Scotland.

Working with reserve managers and overseeing the work of a small team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers the successful candidate will provide on-the-job work experience in practical skills including footpath maintenance, fencing and tree felling. 

To be successful in this role you will have excellent organisational and leadership skills, enthusiasm and flexibility.  The role is mainly outdoor, working in demanding environments.

To apply you should be educated to Higher National Certificate level and qualified in general practical land management skills or be able to demonstrate the equivalent experience. LANTRA and NPTC qualifications in the use of brush-cutters, chainsaws, herbicide application is desirable. 

A full UK driving licence, first aid certificate and health and safety awareness is essential.
