Researcher in Tuna Resource Management

AZTI Tecnalia is looking for a researcher in the quantitative aspects of the assessment and management of living marine resources, in particular in managing tuna resources, with advanced knowledge in modeling and programming. We are looking for researchers with experience, preferably with a PH.D. in the specific knowledge area, with initiative and creativity, who would like to form part of a competent research team working in the context of organizations responsible for providing scientific advice for fisheries management in general and tuna fisheries management in particular (ICCAT, IOTC and others). The research group performs consultancy and strategic R&D in a balanced and multidisciplinary way, maintaining a good network of relationships with groups of excellence in the field of fisheries science.
