As aResearcher, you will support our team in working on projects related to national and European energy and climate policy. In addition, you will support the acquisition of new projects in these fields.
Your Tasks:
You work on energy and climate protection policy projects at the national and European levels.
You carry out scientific analyses independently and work up these textually.
You support project acquisition, management and controlling.
You also support the conception and implementation of measures for the communication of project results.
You represent Ecologic Institute at conferences and other events with a scientific or political orientation.
Our Offer:
We offer you an employment contract with a minimum workload of 30 hours per week, initially limited to two years. We aim for a long-term commitment.

Our Expectations:
You have completed a relevant academic education (e.g. economics, political science, industrial engineering) with a Master's degree.
You have already gained professional experience (approx. three to four years) in a relevant working environment, for example in an environmental policy think tank, in environmental policy consulting or in environmental policy research.
You have a deep knowledge of German and European energy and climate policy. Ideally, you have a strong understanding of the economic impact of environmental policy instruments. Detailed experience in promoting renewable energies, energy markets and energy efficiency is an advantage.
You have excellent, demonstrable methodological and analytical skills for qualitative and ideally quantitative analyses.
You have experience in project acquisition at the European and national levels.
You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You convince us with your enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English.
You have an interest in new media and their use for scientific communication.
You need for your application: a cover letter, CV, certificates and work samples.
The work samples should contain a maximum of 20 pages of a scientific paper, e.g. a scholarly article.
