Greenpeace Research Laboratories has expertise across a range of disciplines from toxicology to biochemistry. Its work is regularly reported in scientific journals and it has an extensive database of literature, built up since 1986. With those resources behind you, your role will be to advise and support our East Asian campaigns.
Focusing on issues relating to chemical and heavy metal pollution, you’ll plan and execute fieldwork, and produce reports and presentations. At the same time, you’ll help increase our credibility and connection to the scientific community in China, which means being right up-to-date with current thinking in both English and Chinese literature.
We’re looking for an exceptional individual with particular experience in this subject matter and fieldwork in China. You have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject and fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written Chinese. You will be based at the University of Exeter. Frequent travel is an integral part of the job.
