An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to join the Global Sustainability Institute (GSI) at our Cambridge campus. The Global Sustainability Institute (GSI) is managed by the Faculty of Science & Technology and works closely with colleagues across the faculty in the Built Environment, Computing and Technology, Life Sciences, Psychology and Vision and Hearing Sciences. The GSI also encompasses research being carried out across Anglia Ruskin, including the Ashcroft International Business School (sustainable tourism and business practices) and the Faculties of Education, Arts, Law & Social Sciences and Health & Social Care (sustainable public services).
The research of the GSI is focused in 4 key themes: climate action, managing ecosystems, consumer change and education for sustainability. This post will be expected to focus on the climate action research theme. This theme will explore how can we ensure that lessons are learnt and shared from the implementation of climate solutions? The post holder will have a relevant background in climate finance, renewable technology deployment, technology transfer or climate policy impacts. Experience of undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative research project is essential.
You will be encouraged to write papers and apply for additional funding. A relevant Doctorate degree is required.
We value diversity at Anglia Ruskin University and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
