Our client a market leading seed supplier is currently looking to fill the position of Research Farm Manager for their research farm in Kempton Park. Can you independently administrate a farm unit and effectively co-ordinate and allocate farm resources? Can you work effectively within a team? Requirements:· Tertiary education in the relevant field (Agriculture essentially).Minimum of a MSc will be considered· Minimum of 5 years experience in vegetable farming· Minimum of 5 years experience in the management of outdoor and protected vegetable cultivation· Thorough understanding of modern agricultural practices and horticultural techniques will be advantageous Responsibilities and core duties: · Independently administrate the farm unit· Effectively co-ordinate and allocate all farm resources according to the needs of a diverse team of plant breeders Our client is offering a negotiable remuneration package, pleasant working conditions and company housing on the research farm in Kempton Park If you feel that you meet the requirements of the positions please forward a comprehensive CV along with a cover letter to Candicew@caenviro.co.za
