An opportunity has arisen for a Research Co-ordinator to join SNIFFER's dynamic team based in Edinburgh.

SNIFFER is a company which aims to increase knowledge to help protect our environment and improve quality of life. We target our activities towards policy makers and implementers as well as other organisations with whom we work in partnership. This post will be responsible for coordinating projects and delivering high profile partnerships initially focusing on the water environment and in particular river restoration.

Working closely with SNIFFER's Programme Manager your main responsibility is to coordinate and ensure the timely and quality delivery of a package of projects and events.

You will be responsible for:
* Building relationships and maintaining dialogue with project advisory groups and other stakeholders from project inception stage through to dissemination.
* Taking ownership of management of projects to ensure that the needs of the project funders are met through the timely delivery of high quality outputs.
* Developing and delivering knowledge exchange mechanisms for project outputs including website pages, briefing papers, workshops and training.

For this position you will be degree qualified in either Environmental Science/Environmental Management and are likely to have had a minimum of three years experience within the water environment or have proven project management expertise.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with a range of organisations with a track record of delivering projects and other objectives with an agreed timescale.

Essentially you will be delivery-focussed, organised and have an ability to plan and manage your own workload.

Salary will be dependent on experience and responsibilities but will be within the range £30,000 - £34,900
