Research Associate - Centre for Research on Sustainable Building Science (Readvertisement)

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate for Centre for Research on Sustainable Building Sciences Area.

Job Responsibilities:

Research and development on sustainable building materials in the Indian context with a focus on embodied energy, applications and disposal methods (waste management and related issues).
Research on adoption of foreign material and new technologies, feasibility studies for the same.
Developing strategies and policies for building related Water and waste management, recycle and reuse technologies at individual building level, urban level and national level

Educational qualification/s and desired experience:

Bachelors in Civil Engineering /Masters in Environmental Planning/ Masters in Material Science and Technology

Skill Set Requirements:

Keen interest in sustainable building technologies related to building materials and their life-cycles
Thermo-physical properties of materials
Must be willing to travel and interact with professionals / academia / stakeholder groups in the same / related fields
Must be fluent in Hindi / Regional Language / English / Both
Must be determined to have a positive influence on the development of our nation
