Job description
The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) is opening one full time position at the research assistant (RA) level for one year, with the possibility for another half year upon a successful assessment of the work conducted during the first year. The level of financial support will be set according to the academic and professional profile of the applicant.
The responsibilities of the RA will be to assist research at BC3 on the topic of transformability and decarbonisation of urban social-ecological systems. In addition the RA will assist BC3 in various other existing projects on climate change adaptation and mitigation.
Experience/skills required:The RA should have a Master degree in economics, engineering or environmental science (or similar field) and have a proven research record. It is also highly desirable that the applicant has experience in conducting research in international research institutions on similar topics. The working language is English and a good command of Spanish would be desirable.
Location: Basque Centre for Climate Change, Bilbao (Spain).
