Salary: $90,905.95 per annum + superannuation

Status: Full time, Permanent Position  

Research and investigations form the foundation of all of Greenpeace’s campaigns. The quality of this work is integral to the success of the organisation.

We are currently looking for a stand-out candidate to lead our Research and Investigations Unit. The right candidate will have a heightened aptitude for research, an investigative flair and an ability to manage people and projects. They will be exemplary at stakeholder engagement and be in possession of high level verbal and written communication skills. They will also be flexible in their approach to work and exude a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Main responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and implement strategic research and investigation projects and strategies within the Australia Pacific region as determined by campaign priorities. Such projects will include those of a corporate, financial, scientific, practical, technical and or logistical nature
• Provide scientific support to the Program Department. As required, facilitate quality control checks on the scientific and factual accuracy of campaign materials and assertions
• Lead the development of investigative techniques, skills, tools and capacity within Greenpeace Australia Pacific
