Research and Communications Officer (Office of Senator Penny Wright)

Applications are invited for the Adelaide-based position of Media Adviser to support Senator Wright in her role as South Australian senator and Australian Greens spokesperson on education, legal issues, mental health, and veterans' affairs.

The Media Adviser will provide advice about presentation, messaging and strategy, produce materials and develop strong relationships with national and local media.

Previous media experience is essential, as is strategic thinking, excellent written and oral skills, understanding of the mainstream and online media environments, and ability to work quickly under pressure.

This position will involve extensive travel and irregular hours. A commencing salary of $59,284-$69,216 plus an allowance of up to $14,319 in lieu of overtime is payable.
