Research and Admin Associate
Support the Chief Executive and Managing Director in delivery of existing projects and performance of administrative and marketing duties at CS Secretariat in London.
Responsibilities
Organisational support and coordination of existing research projects led by Climate Strategies through range of activities including setting up meetings, reporting from meetings, organising workshops and conferences, providing assistance and support to respective project teams. In particular support for the project: FP7 CARBON-CAP ‘Carbon emission mitigation by Consumption-based Accounting and Policy’;
Administrative support for CS Secretariat (e.g. recording and cataloguing invoices, producing various management reports, progress chasing);
Marketing activities (maintaining database of contacts, updating CS website as needed).
Qualifications and Other information
Enthusiasm for, and preferably familiarity with climate and energy policy space;
Familiarity with office management tasks, basic financial reporting, and marketing tools;
Good organisational skills and ability to manage several work streams simultaneously
Fluency in English
Depending on qualifications of a candidate the position could be part or full time. It will be based at CS office located at UCL Energy Institute London (near Euston station); candidates who are or who expect to be London based will therefore be preferred. Daily presence in the office is expected on each working day.
