ABOUT THE ROLE
The Climate Group is seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst. Reporting to a Programme Manager, the role presents a fantastic opportunity to work on climate change issues in a successful NGO.
The role will include but not be limited to:
? Supporting the implementation and delivery of The Climate Group India’s work streams with a focus on Smart Grids, Zero Carbon Buildings, LED lighting, Clean Energy, International Policy, Finance and Corporate Strategy.
? Assisting in compiling and disseminating The Climate Group’s quarterly India Newsletter, and other communications.
? Identifying, researching and drafting case studies on corporate best practice and the dissemination thereof through webinars, presentations etc.
? Providing support when required to The Climate Group staff in the preparation of presentations and meetings, responses to consultations and other documents.
? Undertaking administrative work as required for the organisation of events.
ABOUT YOU
? Excellent writing skills, and ability to summarise technical and policy documents.
? Desire to take on new tasks, and manage specific reports and publications.
? Exceptional organisational skills for knowledge and data management.
? Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and provide high-quality research inputs.
? Ability to work on own initiative, as well as in a team.
? Flexibility to take on other tasks as required by the organisation and willingness to travel if and when required.
? A good first and preferably second degree in a relevant area (engineering, environmental science, policy, economics, business administration or related field).
? At least 1-3 years full time work experience in research, energy policy, or corporate sustainability.
? A passion for involvement in environmental and climate change solutions is desirable.
