Position Overview |
The Cadmus Group, Inc. is seeking individuals with backgrounds in environmental or life sciences, economics, statistics, public finance, public policy, or closely related fields. |
Responsibilities |
Our projects focus on developing and implementing environmental policy, particularly with regard to drinking water and water quality in the United States. Research Analysts perform a variety of tasks including data collection and analysis, literature searches and reviews, assessment of the impact of policy decisions, logistical and administrative project support, and communication of research results. |
Requirements |
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required. Successful candidates will be highly motivated and possess excellent academic results, strong quantitative skills, sound organizational abilities, a professional demeanor, outstanding problem solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Skill with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is critical. Experience using R and/or developing models and other tools with other programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, SAS, etc.) is ideal. Access experience desired. Senior researchers will provide direction on the research approach, and the research analysts are expected to perform most work with minimal supervision.

Preferred |
Previous professional experience is not required, but relevant technical experience in public or private sector is a definite plus. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry a plus. |
