Title Research Analyst - Energy Services
Position Overview The Cadmus Group, Inc. seeks a Research Analyst or Analyst to join our Energy Services Division in Portland, Oregon. The Energy Services team at Cadmus provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations.

Our primary areas of focus are:
- Program Planning: Working with clients to assess potentials for energy savings and design energy conservation programs that capture the maximum savings potential.
- Program Evaluation: Working with energy conservation program sponsors to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and portfolios and measure/verify program energy savings impacts.
- Market Assessment: Helping our clients to better understand the markets in which they are operating with a focus on markets for energy efficient equipment.

Responsibilities -Work independently, or with supervision, to manage research projects and participate in research efforts, ensuring consistency and quality of research methods.
- Assist with planning and implementing impact evaluations.
- Conduct primary and secondary data collection efforts and statistical and econometric data analysis. 
- Analyze and interpret data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations for improvement and write results into clear, concise reports.
- Contribute to draft and final reports, including results and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure high quality client deliverable in all activities.
- Contribute to proposal efforts.
- Assist with project management activities such as internal coordination and budget tracking.
Requirements - Undergraduate or graduate degree. 
- Understanding of statistical and econometrical analysis. 
- Initiative and ability to self-direct on assignments. 
- 1-3 years of work experience in a professional environment.
- Understanding of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes, in a time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace. 
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Some domestic travel may be required.
Preferred - Interest or knowledge in the field of energy management or energy efficiency. 
- Familiarity with energy sector and/or utility industry.
- Experience in professional/consulting business environment.
- Applied experience with quantitative research activities in academic or professional setting.
- Coursework in economics, statistics, or other quantitative fields in the social sciences or mathematics is strongly preferred.
Additional Info Location of this position is Portland, Oregon.

Some domestic travel may be required.
