The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is a primarily Government Funded, non-profit company, promoting sustainable energy solutions to households, businesses and the road transport sector. We are one of the UK's leading organisations fighting to combat climate change.

The Energy Saving Trust in Scotland is delivering the Scottish Government¿s Energy Assistance Package (EAP), its new fuel poverty programme, from April 2009.

This role will involve assisting the Manager, Energy Assistance Package to deliver the Scottish Government¿s Energy Assistance Package, in particular by designing and generating periodic as well as ad hoc reports on the volume, nature and outcome of services provided to clients by the Energy Saving Scotland advice centres (ESSacs) and other Energy Assistance Package service providers.

The main responsibilities will be to:

  • Act as the key facilitator of reports on the volume, nature and outcome of services provided to Energy Assistance Package clients by the ESSacs, EST and 3rd party service providers.
  • Liaise with ESSacs, EST and 3rd party service providers to meet reporting requirements
  • Conduct trend analysis, manipulation and modelling of EAP data
  • Assist the EAP Data Assistant with maintenance of data quality in the CRM system, the data transmission files and reporting systems
  • Assist the EAP Liaison Assistant with providing written responses and meeting key stakeholders to discuss issues as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Good management reporting skills
  • Experience with the design and maintenance of reporting tools including Excel and Access databases
  • Experience in the design and production of reports in various formats including Excel, Access and MS Office Suite
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritise tasks within a demanding environment
  • Team player who works co-operatively to deliver results.
  • Good knowledge of fuel poverty issues
  • Knowledge of Scottish public and NGO sectors
