Background:Lark Energy is part of the Larkfleet Group, a privately owned construction and development group based in the East Midlands. The company develops and installs a range of renewable energy solutions for new and existing housing and commercial developments, with a focus on photovoltaic (PV) systems. Lark Energy has developed and installed over 12MWp of PV projects since May 2011, including two of the UKs largest solar farms. Lark Energy are looking to expand in the large scale solar farm sector, whilst maintaining their presences in medium-sized ventures. They require a project officer to enable this continuity and to adapt to the changing size of the organisation and allow for this growth. Objective:The opportunity will require a great deal of project management skills and will result in the successful management of multiple solar sites and their progress from identification through to site development and construction. Employment Potential and Options Post Project WorkThe successful candidate will gain excellent experience in this relatively new and growing sector, develop project management skills, and a thorough understanding of solar technology and the processes involved in taking a site from identification, through a feasibility study and right the way to completion.
