We are currently seeking a mid-level Renewable Energy Specialist for our Energy & Resources group in our Fairfax, VA office. ICF’s Energy & Resources practice offers results and solutions to a broad range of clients in the energy industry in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. We have advised both private and public sector clients in all facets of the energy industry for more than 30 years.

This individual will be responsible for providing technical insight on renewable energy issues, including:
- Financial analysis of utility-scale and distributed renewable energy resources
- Policy analysis regarding renewable energy markets and technologies, at the international, Federal, State and local levels
- Technology analysis and forecasting for existing and emerging renewable energy technologies
- Market analysis of renewable energy technologies, including industry structure, supply chain relationships, demand drivers, supply constraints, capital investment, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required plus 4-8 years of demonstrated experience with renewable energy issues
- Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
- Analytical skills including modeling skill in Excel
- Commitment to environmental issues
