The Alliance offers a fellowship position for those committed to promoting renewable energy and getting involved in renewable energy policy. Applicants must have a college degree or equivalent experience. This position comes with a stipend of $500 per month. We are now accepting applications for the fall of 2012. 

The Fellowship is full time for a minimum of 3 months and involves intensive research, analysis and writing on residential renewable energy with a focus on biomass heating. The Fellowship will also involve policy work including preparing for and attending meetings and briefings with government officials at the state and federal level. The Fellow will also help prepare a monthly newsletter and engage in social networking. Background in renewable energy, climate change, government relations, poverty issues, mechanical engineering desired but not required. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
