The Person – Renewable Energy Engineer
IT Power is seeking to recruit a Renewable Energy Engineer for its sustainable energy work
in the UK and abroad. Successful candidate will preferably have an undergraduate degree
and at least three years professional experience or an MSc in a relevant discipline
(preferably engineering graduates but other disciplines will be considered).  Familiarity with
renewable energy technologies including Solar, Wind, Biomass and Hydropower, project
development and the building industry would be advantageous. Knowledge of French or
Spanish would also be an advantage.

The Role
The  position will involve project management and delivery on a wide variety of projects
including:
• feasibility assessments
• engineering design
• technical analysis
• programme design
• market and resource studies
• due diligence
• policy guidance workThe position requires technical and project management skills as  well as the ability to communicate effectively with a range of different professions and clients. IT Power’s clients
include a broad selection of public and private sector organisations.  The successful
candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and have a  demonstrated ability to meet tight
deadlines. 


The post could be based in Basingstoke or Bristol but the candidates must be willing to
travel.
