IT Power is seeking to recruit a Renewable Energy Consultant for its sustainable energy work in
the UK and abroad. The position will involve project management and delivery on a wide
variety of projects including:
• feasibility assessments
• engineering design
• technical analysis
• programme design
• market and resource studies
• due diligence
• policy guidance work
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate or a Master’s degree and several years of
professional experience in a relevant discipline, preferably engineering but other disciplines will
be considered. The position requires a strong familiarity with renewable energy technologies,
particularly Wind Power but candidates with experience in Solar, Biomass and Hydro power will
also be considered. The position requires technical and project management skills as well as the
ability to communicate effectively with a range of different professions and clients. IT Power’s
clients include a broad selection of public and private sector organisations. The successful
candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and have a demonstrated ability to meet tight
deadlines.
The post will be based in Bristol but the candidates must be willing to travel within the UK and
overseas. Knowledge of French or Spanish would also be an advantage, but is not essential.
