Renewable Energies Expert – European Neighborhood and central Asian countries

In the framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable Energy for All initiative, the European Commission has launched a Technical Assistance facility to support developing countries to improve their policy and regulatory framework conditions aiming at providing attractive and enabling conditions for increased public and private investment in energy access, energy supplies, renewable energy as well as energy efficiency.

The facility DAI is recruiting targets European Neighbourhood Partnership countries (eastern and southern regions) and central Asian countries including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The Renewable Energies Expert will have overall responsibility for overseeing and delivering Renewable Energy related technical assistance packages and will be responsible to the project manager. The expert will be in charge of other non-key experts in their domains of intervention and can act as “Team Leader” for specific activity areas, in addition to being responsible for quality control. Travel will be required to partner countries.
