This internationally accredited wildlife sanctuary currently houses around 200 wild residents including baboons, vervet monkeys, antelopes, reptiles, birds, a lion and a leopard, and there are new intakes every week. It operates to the highest animal care and welfare standards and have an active release program, returning any rescued animals back to the wild wherever possible. With such a busy animal care department the project is looking for a rehabilitation assistant who can help with integrating new animals, mainly primates, into the existing group. The position is scheduled to start mid-September, 2013 (application deadline: 9th of August, 2013).
The rehabilitation assistant receives free accommodation and food.
